  Main Screen

From the main screen you can

Take a Test, View Results from your last test or Setup a Test.

Since this is our first time through, let's set up a test. To begin, touch the "Setup Test" button

Setup Test - Basics

This brings us to the Setup Test window. From here we can add questions to the test. The process for adding questions is as follows:

1) Enter the answer to your question
2) Touch the record button.
3) The Rec button will turn into a Stop button, indicating that you are recording. At this point record your question.
4) When you have finished recording press Stop.
5) If you'd like to hear your question, press Play
6) Touch Add to add the question to the test. The Total words in test will update to reflect your new question has been added.

Setup Test - Options

There are several additional options on the Setup Test window. These include:

1) Setup Password: Entering a password here will activate the password lock. To get back to the setup panel you will be prompted for this password.

2) Second Chance: If you turn second chance on a message will popup for any incorrect answer and allow the learner to retry their answer. Only one retry is allowed per question, so if they input the answer incorrectly the second time it will count.

3) Erase Test: Touching this button erases the test and sets things up for the next test. When touching this button you will be prompted just to be sure as erasing a test is not reversable

4) Speaker Output: This switches between the headphones and the built in speaker for playing back recordings. This only applies to your activity on the control panel. The test taker also has a similar switch for to control their playback preference.

Taking a Test

Touching the Take a Test button will bring you to the testing window. From this window touching Listen will play the current question.

The test taker can also control whether sound plays through the headphones or the built in speaker by adjusting the Speaker Output switch.

When the test is finished results will be displayed including a list of incorrect answers.

Alternate Input

The + and - buttons are convient for increasing the number of dice, to a point. But when you need to roll 20d6 the plus button gets a bit labor intensive!
If you touch the number for the Number to Roll, Keep, Modifier or Multiplier the application will switch to keyed entry mode. This allows you to more easily select large numbers of dice to roll. After you've keyed your number, touch Done and select the die which you'd like to roll.
