Tutorial

Welcome to the TilePics tutorial.
This will give you a brief overview of TilePics operation.

  Basic Gameplay

To move a tile:
Touching the tile you wish to move. The tile will highlight to confirm your choice.


Touching tile where you would like to place the highlighted tile and the tiles will exchange places.

If you change your mind about moving a tile once it's highlighted touch the tile again and no move will occur. This will not count against your total number of moves for purposes of scoring.

 

 
     
 

The Flip Icon

Touching the Flip Icon at any time will show you the original image used to make the puzzle. Simply touch the image to return to your puzzle.

 
     

 

 

The Tools Icon

Touching the Tools Icon will take you to the control screen.

The slider at the top of the screen controls difficulty. Settings are as follows:

  • Easy - 9 tiles (3x3)
  • Casual - 16 tiles (4x4)
  • Normal - 25 tiles (5x5)
  • Advanced - 36 tiles (6x6)
  • Expert - 64 tiles (8x8)

Touching the left or right arrows will cycle you through the available images.

Touching the Go! button will generate a new puzzle based on the image and difficulty you have selected.

Touching the Back button returns you to the puzzle in progress (just in case the control button was touched by mistake)
